Silver lining, unframed

Acrylic, gold and silver Leaf.  42” x 60”

There is always a silver lining. This painting shows that through all the sadness or life or the travails that can attack our well-being there is always hope in the form of a silver lining which threads its way through all these events. When you recognize it and follow it through that silver becomes pure gold.

The Blue represents life’s sad events such as the death of a loved one, with silver tears throughout

The flames of confusion on the other side of life reflect those arguments or conflicts one has in life, that can seem to completely engulf you.

But the silver of hope is always there to protect you and keep you going to the end, when you reach that golden realisation that things can be better now…..
